Exhibit at Patriot Place lets fans relive Super Bowl glory

Kyle DaLuz of the Sun Chronicle visited the new Super Bowl Experience exhibit designed by Cambridge Seven Associates for the Hall at Patriot Place, the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.

The Super Bowl Experience, located in the former Hall of Champions and Fan Zone galleries, features a 16′ x 9′ video wall showing 12 different vignettes of iconic Super Bowl moments, four Super Bowl pods with artifacts and interactive stations that allow fans to learn more about each championship game, and the Malcolm Butler Interception, which uses augmented reality to let visitors recreate the game-saving catch from Super Bowl XLIX and send their photo on the cover of “Patriots Weekly” to friends and family. For the first time, the four Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophies are on display free of their glass cases behind a graphic rail that holds the championship rings.
