A Sleek and Modern Hotel Transformation
Hyatt Place Braintree
Hotel renovation and design of new retail complex for Cambridge-based developer
Cambridge Seven Associates designed a new hotel and retail complex for developer Carpenter & Company, renovating the former Sheraton Braintree and transforming it into a new Hyatt Place Hotel. The 374-room hotel received a top to bottom renovation that eliminated its castle-like façade and replaced it with a modern exterior. All of the guestroom interiors and public spaces were redesigned by C7A to provide modern finishes and amenities, creating a more comfortable and inviting environment for travelers. The project also included the demolition of 104,000 SF of the existing building, reducing the number of rooms to a new total of 204, and the addition of a new and vibrant retail development with multiple restaurants as well as 30,000 SF of retail space.
