Modern Makeover in the Theatre District
Architectural design for renovation and interior transformation of hotel in Boston's Theatre District
Cambridge Seven has worked with the Radisson Boston, a 358-room hotel located in the heart of Boston's Theatre District, for the past eight years, upgrading its conference center, restaurant, pool and health club as well as designing all of its guest bathrooms.
Most recently, the John Hardy Group, on behalf of Northwood Investors, engaged C7A to create a fresh new look for the building’s 1970s concrete exterior that would complement its transformation into a new independent hotel known as Revere Boston. C7A designed "the ribbon," a warm and playful architectural element, which wraps around and highlights entry points of the building. The rebranding effort also included a new signage program, lighting design and decorative cladding. C7A collaborated with the interior design firm BBG-BBGM from New York to create two new iconic theaters, a modern lobby and meeting rooms.
