TSC Kuwait Science Exhibits

Interactive exhibit design for science museum and aquarium in Kuwait

The exhibits designed by Cambridge Seven Associates for The Scientific Center of Kuwait expansion incorporate panoramic views, multi-level galleries, overlooks, architectural-scale interactives, and an engaging variety of spaces to deepen visitors' appreciation and engagement in science learning. Interpretive areas include marine mammal galleries, an expansive science gallery, and two technology-rich classrooms that transform into a presentation hall. Interactive exhibits deepen the experience as visitors learn about anatomy and exercise by entering a “hamster wheel” and monitoring their own heart rate. In the Innovation and Technology Zone, regional, solutions-oriented innovations are highlighted, such as utilizing wave energy to power desalination plants or the sustainable technologies incorporated into this LEED-designed building. Visitors can race through the atrium and science galleries via the overhead pedal-powered monorail while seeing the effects of centrifugal force and turbulence and learning about alternative public transportation.
