Exhibit design and wayfinding for sports museum in Boston

Cambridge Seven Associates was commissioned by The Sports Museum to redesign their exhibits, located throughout a half-mile of concourses on two levels of the TD Garden, home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. The exhibit re-imagines the graphic identity, wayfinding system, and overall impact of the museum. Featuring 25 new large-scale wall murals displaying enlarged photographs of iconic moments in New England sports, from the first women’s basketball team at Smith College in the late 1900s to the 2011 Bruins Stanley Cup victory, the exhibit halls are punctuated by a series of 18 refurbished museum cases, displaying a wide range of artifacts from the museum’s vast collection.
