Aquarium Explores the Ozarks
Wonders of Wildlife
Architectural and exhibit design for new aquarium and natural history museum in Missouri
Cambridge Seven Associates provided architectural and exhibit design for Wonders of Wildlife, a new aquarium and natural history museum whose mission is to educate and entertain visitors, stressing the importance of conserving our natural resources. The new 92,000-square foot facility takes visitors on a walk through the woods beginning at treetop level above a meandering river. Visitors explore a beaver pond stocked with bass, compare the fresh water world with an open ocean tank, and investigate life in an underground cave. The return trail winds back at the river, with interactive galleries, additional tanks and animals as the river flows down from the hills.
