Exhibit design for combined aquarium and natural history museum interpreting the Ozarks
Cambridge Seven Associates designed the exhibits at Wonders of Wildlife, a combined aquarium and natural history museum, to highlight the fish and wildlife of the region. For this interpretation of an Ozark lake and river system, the participatory experiences at interactive stations along the live habitat paths are combined with optional galleries off the main trip. The Museum interprets Ozark Treetops (trees, game birds, and water fowl), A Walk in the Woods (mountain river), Community Pond (bass pond habitat featuring otters, bobcats, and fox) and Ozark Underground (bat cave habitat). Interactive exhibits, video displays, and mini-theaters interpret the animals on display and their roles in Ozark ecosystems.
