World of Little League

Architectural renovation and new exhibits for interactive sports museum

World of Little League: The Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store, located adjacent to the site of the Little League World Series, has been telling the stories of Little League for 30 years. C7A was commissioned to renovate the building and develop new immersive exhibits highlighting the stories, history and mission of Little League International. Exhibits are organized into six “Innings,” a structure unique to Little League games. Visitors begin at the “Museum Store,” where ticketing and the gift store are located. Media, artifacts and graphics combine to tell the story of Little League’s history and recent international expansion, place visitors “In the Game” through a series of interactive exhibits, and showcase famous World Series moments and distinguished Little League members. Visitors to the new World of Little League will take away the phenomenal impact the institution has had over the last 75 years and certainly for years to come.
